More Than Saviour This section of the site is new and deals with an individual's growth as a follower of Jesus Christ. Followers first accept Him as Saviour and can come to realize that He is and should be much more, namely, Lord and Master. This is a growth process in the faith and the knowledge of Him as Saviour, Lord, and Master. As this section of the site grows, there will be Scripture and lessons to guide the believer in the growth process. There is so much more for the believer than merely filling out a card and joining a local congregation. Too often, the card is revered more than the believer in that the card represents a number to be tallied as a sign of the "success" of the particular congregation. This robs the believer of a wonderful opportunity of growing in the faith and coming to know Jesus in a way that is unimaginable in the beginning. As the Scripture and lessons are posted, read along and follow. Some things you may have to read and pray over several times before you can apply them to your everyday life. It is a matter of growing in the faith and surrendering to Jesus to allow the growth. As children, each of us grew at different rates. It is no different as believers. Each will grow at different rates and different areas of the faith. It is the prayer of Resurrection of Peace that this study will have a great impact in your life as a believer and as a person. It is also our prayer that you enjoy the journey. Follow the links below to the introduction page and to the chapters as they appear. The voice recordings of the chapters will be added as they are completed. |
